Ortho

I knew for a very long time that I wanted to be a physiotherapist.

I had my fair share of injuries from playing sports growing up but it wasn't until my twin brother had a significant ankle injury that I really got to see how impactful physiotherapy could be. He was unable to train and I really felt for him, so I accompanied him to his PT appointments (as twins do, of course) and fell in love with the energy and environment. It was during this time that it became clear that PT was my calling!

Later into my career, I developed a special interest in looking at orthopaedics from a women’s health lens and how our unique biology and physiology play a role in the response to training, injury and recovery.  Whether a recreational or more elite athlete, I want to help inform you on topics like RED-S that could be impacting not just your training, but your life! New research for female athletes of all levels is finally emerging on this topic and I can’t wait to share what’s new!
